It is Sunday in Addis and we are doing well. We still are being careful but the transportation has improved and is almost totally back to normal. I talked with Gemini on Friday and they hope to be open on Monday. So I will call Monday morning and then if they are open get a hold of Thomas to take me to Gemini. Jim had classes all last week with IFESH taking him to work and bringing him home. Next week will be the last week of his class then the new professor will teach and he will get the placements done for the second year students. We did go out shopping on Friday to get a few Christmas presents that we forgot to buy when here in June. We are going to try and mail them to Shannon and see what happens. Our internet dial up from home is still down but the internet café and the internet in Jim's office is working so we have been going to check there once or twice a day and hopefully the dial up will be back up next week. I have now gotten all the Christmas cards I need to sent this year and will get them ready to mail before the first of December.
We hope this note finds everyone doing well and getting ready for winter and the holiday season with their families.
Please keep Ethiopia in your prayers as they go forward with the political talks to get the election settled. We will let you know how we are doing. We are being careful and watching where we go and staying out of crowds and away from demonstrations.
