I [Pat] went to see about getting my resident card but we have to prove we are married by getting a letter from the US Embassy and then going to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for another letter saying the Ethiopian government believes the other letter. Then back to spend another morning at the immigration office. I am not sure about it but it is better then having to go every month to get my visa extended.

So yesterday morning I spent at the immigration office and then they took me to Jim's office we went out for lunch at Blue Tops and then we walked to St. Matthews's church where we are planning to attend on Sunday. We wanted to know where it was exactly. We did have a brief talk with the minister and they have some volunteer opportunities so maybe one day a week I will go there. I will see how church goes on Sunday and then talk to the ministry again. WE did a little more exploring and came home and rested the rest of the day. I got a message from Sheila and Terry. Shannon had called on Thursday night to talk. So I have heard from all the people who are going to call except you and you said tomorrow. I figure Tom will call if he wants to sometime. Mom said he was really busy yesterday trying to get a load to Birmingham MI. I guess they had loaded him too heavy and they had to remove some and he was late leaving.

I am feeling better and we probably will be going out today to see the Piazza. An area we have not explored at all. We are checking with hotmail about buying hotmail plus to see if that will help solve our computer problems. Ruth from England said it helped solve hers. So we may spend the $20 a year to get a different account.

I guess I will go now. Write when you can. I will talk to you tomorrow.

Love, Pat
